The service that we use to stream video is called uStream.

It can be found at http://www.ustream.tv/.

Go to this website and click on the "Login" link in the top right hand corner.

• Enter your user name and password. The user name is scrnz.
• This will log you into your uStream account.
• Where you just clicked on the "Login" link, you will now see your user name (scrnz).
• Click on this and you are taken to the uStream dashboard.
• This is where you can setup Shows, change your profile, work with live broadcasts and recorded programs.
• Before you can stream live content you need to create at least one Show.
• A show that has been created for samoa Capital Radio is SCRadio live.
• It can be found at http://www.ustream.tv/channel/scradio-live.

To broadcast live from the studio, any laptop will do.

1. Plug in the laptop in the studio.
2. Make sure you have power.
3. Use the network cable (do not use wireless).
4. Plug in the live radio feed in to the mic jack on the laptop. If you do not do this the sound will be rather poor, you will not be able to hear music played and anything said by people in the studio, even when off air, will be broad-casted on the Internet!
5. Login to the scrnz uStream account.
6. Go to the "Show page", make sure it is the SCRadio Live page.
7. You will now be able to go "Live".
8. When you go live, a new window will open that is the control panel for broadcasting.
9. When you see your self in the camera you are ready to start the live broadcast.
10. Start the Broadcast, and adjust the camera and position of the laptop as needed.
11. You are now broadcasting live.
